We Salute Richard Adams II. Richard is celebrating a remarkable milestone as he approaches retirement this January, concluding an impressive 44 years of dedicated service at Dover Air Force Base. Enlisting in the Air Force right out of high school at age 18, Richard quickly distinguished himself in his field. Over his career, he spent 26 years as a jet engine mechanic before transitioning to an aircraft mechanic role for another 18 years. His expertise and commitment led him to the esteemed rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Known not only for his exceptional skills as a mechanic but also for his integrity and dedication, Richard has truly embodied the spirit of service.
