Angela Alsobrooks is from Prince George's County. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Maryland School of Law. She has previously worked as a law clerk in the Howard County Circuit Court and later the Baltimore City Circuit Court before becoming the first full-time Assistant State's Attorney to handle domestic violence cases in Prince George's County. Alsobrooks was the first woman to be elected Prince George's County Executive in 2018 and the first black woman to hold that office in Maryland history.Â
